Rev. Brian Shelby-Hampton, was born in Bridgeport, CT. Rev. Hampton served at the North River Baptist Church in Bridgewater, VA; where he was licensed to preach immediately after graduation from high school. He also worked very closely with DURAG Ministries (Divine Unity Righteously Applying God) on the campus of James Madison University with college students and young adults.
Rev. Hampton has attended Virginia University of Lynchburg, VA, a Historically Black College. While pursuing his studies, he also worked in the Office of Institutional Development with the Vice President of the University. Rev. Hampton currently attends Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where he is majoring in Theology and Religious Studies.
Rev. Hampton is community conscious and is involved in many civic organizations, and gives credence to speaking out on topics that plague the African-American community that many young adults will not touch. He believes that you can accomplish much through the power of your voice, and is strongly convinced that the time is over to remain silent.
He is currently, affiliated with the National Action Network with the Rev. Al Sharpton, has worked with various Chapters of the NAACP and is a big brother and role model for many young, African-American males in the Virginia and Connecticut areas.
He is truly an anointed Man of God with a special heart for the youth. He has a special gift of rightfully dividing the Word of God, and his sermons are always power-packed with truth and revelation knowledge.
Rev. Hampton recently married his long-time love, Denisha Victorine, on May 26, 2017. She is his steadfast confidant who shares his passion and zeal for the people of God. Bria Michelle Shelby-Hampton was born 2/26/18, and Tobias was born on Augut 27, 2019.
